The Coffee Knowledge Hub: Empowerment through knowledge

The Coffee Knowledge Hub is a global platform for professional coffee education and certification. It is open to anyone with a passion for coffee, seeking to improve their knowledge and skills. Education unites us. It allows us to talk the same language, improve our livelihoods, enrich our communities, and develop ourselves professionally and personally.

Over the last 20 years we have seen that people working in the coffee industry have a thirst for knowledge and continuous improvement. Programmes like the Specialty Coffee Associations (SCA) Coffee Skills Program (CSP) go from strength to strength, spreading from Europe across Asia and into the USA.

The Coffee Knowledge Hub is a platform to support coffee education in this evolution. It facilitates an environment that is conducive to learning. It offers a full spectrum of courses delivered digitally and in classrooms. Courses are taught in multiple languages, and are available through the network of Experience Labs as well as via our virtual classrooms. The course content is developed and taught by some of the world's best trainers. We have included the courses from CQI, the SCA, Coffee Chemistry, The Coffee Sensorium, and Simonelli’s own Hub for Coffee Science. Courses are taught in Experience Labs and Simonelli facilities in Berlin, Belforte del Chienti (Italy), Kuala Lumpur, London, Melbourne, Prague, Shanghai, Singapore, Warsaw and online. This ensures that anyone who wants to improve their knowledge and skills can find the best course for their needs.

Education has been an integral part of the Simonelli Group's identity for many years. It started life as the Simonelli Academy, which has been running in person coffee education including the Q program, the coffee skills program, and coffee chemistry. Simonelli has continued to invest in its training facilities. They have CQI and SCA certified centres with 'Red lights', sensory assessment booths and of course some incredible equipment to help develop skills. The demand for coffee education, its benefits for the coffee community and the way coffee education is delivered have all evolved through this time. The Simonelli Knowledge Hub is the latest iteration of the Simonelli Academy. Ready for the new generation of coffee professionals.
