Working as a barista in a speciality coffee shop my main role is preparing coffees and taking care of daily operations. Working with Mythos grinders and Synesso Hydra.
My main role was ensuring smooth daily Coffee and Front of House service. My responsibilities also included recruiting and training employees as well as rota management. Other tasks were preparing and serving drinks, product development and coffee equipment maintenance. I gained experience working with Mythos 1s and Mavam espresso machine.
Having developed a genuine interest in coffee in my previous workplace, I took a barista position in a speciality coffee bar. My main focus was preparing coffees and running daily operations. I developed my skills regarding espresso preparation, latte art and filter coffee brewing methods. I gained experience working with Mythos grinders and La Marzocco Linea.
Hired as a junior Front of House member in a fact-paced brunch restaurant, my tasks were hosting guests, taking orders and delivering food and drinks to tables. I soon then progressed into a barista and was in charge of making coffee as well as fresh juices, smoothies. After a year I was promoted to a Senior FOH member and took on the responsibilities of rota management, placing orders and staff training. It became clear to me that working in the Food & Beverage industry is my passion.
